SmarterMeasure

SmarterMeasure is a Bellevue University tool used to help determine your level of readiness for taking technology rich courses.  The assessment will estimate your learning readiness in the following areas: life, academic, technology, and financial.  It will help you prepare to be successful as a student. Upon completion of the assessment, you will receive a score report which will help you understand your strengths and opportunities for improvement.  The assessment will also provide resources to help you succeed.

Since this is strictly for your own benefit and you will not be penalized for guessing, please take the time to rate yourself honestly without skipping any questions.  The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete.

Upon completion of the assessment you will receive a score report and instructions on next steps.

  1. Have Internet access with a 28.8K modem or faster. (A minimum 56k modem is recommended to download components such as audio files.)
  2. Accept browser cookies.
  3. Enable JavaScript on your Web browser.
  4. Set your browser to refresh at every page.
  5. Not be behind a firewall that blocks cookies or blocks access to a secure server.
  6. Turn off pop-up blocking. (Internet Explorer users only)
  7. Have speakers connected to your computer and turned on.

The following minimum plug-in versions may be required to access certain areas of the site. If your version precedes or differs from those listed, you may be prompted to download a new version.

SmarterMeasure is a Bellevue University tool which helps you determine your level of readiness for taking technology rich courses. On the next few web pages you will be asked questions on topics in the areas of how well you can use a computer; how motivated, organized, and self-directed you are; and how you prefer to learn new information.

But relax, SmarterMeasure is fun. SmarterMeasure is being provided by Bellevue University to help you better understand your strengths and weaknesses better as you prepare to learn in a technology rich enrvironment. SmarterMeasure is a tool to help you succeed!

After completing SmarterMeasure you will view a webpage which will show you your scores in easy to interpret graphs and text. In addition to that, you will receive an email from Bellevue University letting you know about sources for support in the areas in which you could use some assistance.
